Strategist + researcher

½ PITCH—a hybrid studio system, part creative studio, part speculative lab

Observer trapped in the algorithm bubble

I’m an interdisciplinary strategist, researcher, and systems thinker working across emerging technologies, cultural theory, and future-oriented design. I’m especially drawn to new methodologies and mythologies—ways of thinking that stretch beyond the limits of current frameworks and invite us to reorganize how we relate to technology, each other, and the unknown.

My practice is multi-hyphenate by nature, shaped by years of moving between disciplines, industries, and ways of knowing. I bring a layered approach, whether that’s through writing, mapping, designing, or advising.

Through Pitch Studios, I work across creative strategy, direction and narrative, while also developing a parallel research layer focused on speculative tools and future sensing.

Oloris

Oloris is a research-led prototype that translates scent into visual behaviour, giving the air around us a clearer perceptual presence.

Developed jointly by Pitch Studios and Gentle Systems, the project explores how chemical signals in the atmosphere can be interpreted and expressed through light, colour, and motion—opening new ways to understand, record, and work with scent in digital contexts.

While sight and sound evolved alongside technology, smell remained difficult to capture or represent. Oloris responds to this by treating air as information and translating scent into a moving, atmospheric visual language.

The project builds on early experiments with digital-nose technology capable of reading small changes in air composition. This hands-on research became a reference for how a future device might read volatile compounds, interpret the patterns they create, and express them as shifts in colour, motion, and texture. Instead of relying on written descriptions or abstract categories, Oloris creates a more immediate way to understand scent, one that feels intuitive, sensory, and dynamic.
