½ PITCH—a hybrid studio system, part creative studio, part speculative lab

Observer trapped in the algorithm bubble

I’m an interdisciplinary strategist, researcher, and systems thinker working across emerging technologies, cultural theory, and future-oriented design. I’m especially drawn to new methodologies and mythologies—ways of thinking that stretch beyond the limits of current frameworks and invite us to reorganize how we relate to technology, each other, and the unknown.

My practice is multi-hyphenate by nature, shaped by years of moving between disciplines, industries, and ways of knowing. I bring a layered approach, whether that’s through writing, mapping, designing, or advising.

Through Pitch Studios, I work across creative strategy, direction and narrative, while also developing a parallel research layer focused on speculative tools and future sensing.

Past clients: GANNI, Dazed, Amouage, Gymshark, e.l.f. Cosmetics, National Trust, GHARAGE, DTI Space, Gentle Systems, Google, Diesel, Heineken, Shiseido, Decathlon, Garnier, L'Oréal Luxe, Chanel, Boucheron, Samsung + many others.

Gentle Systems

Oloris

link

Oloris is a research-led prototype that translates scent into visual behaviour, giving the air around us a clearer perceptual presence.

Developed jointly by Pitch Studios and Gentle Systems, the project explores how chemical signals in the atmosphere can be interpreted and expressed through light, colour, and motion—opening new ways to understand, record, and work with scent in digital contexts.

While sight and sound evolved alongside technology, smell remained difficult to capture or represent. Oloris responds to this by treating air as information and translating scent into a moving, atmospheric visual language.

The project builds on early experiments with digital-nose technology capable of reading small changes in air composition. This hands-on research became a reference for how a future device might read volatile compounds, interpret the patterns they create, and express them as shifts in colour, motion, and texture. Instead of relying on written descriptions or abstract categories, Oloris creates a more immediate way to understand scent, one that feels intuitive, sensory, and dynamic.

Pitch Studios: Creative research, concept development, narrative framing, writing, interface logic, visual direction and digital design.
Gentle Systems: Technical research, concept development, industrial design and engineering — shaping the device, mechanical systems, and prototyping with digital nose technologies.
Adrien Chuttarsing: algorithmic logic and machine learning model connecting chemical input with perceptual output, front-end interface development.

    glitch #blossomwatch

    link

With Glitch, you can hack your street, plant edible, floral, and fictional AR plants, turn sidewalks into gardens, and street corners into green patches.

To start, you'll chat with Glitch, your local chatbug—part bot, part bug, all imagination. Together, we'll turn urban spaces into pocket forests, planting one cybertree at a time.

Created with Nowadays and National Trust for London's Festival of Blossom, Glitch invites citizen world-building through AR. Each cybertree marks where citizens want more trees, more shade, more nature—turning code into dreams and dreams into placemaking.

What if our greying world could be different? This is hacking urban spaces from the ground up. Gardening has evolved beyond shovels to embrace technology, reimagining how we grow our cities. Cybergardening transforms our relationship with the internet and urban planning, applying these tools to food and growth.

We implemented an interactive map of London where users can plant and view blossom trees, while learning about them. The AR was built on Adobe Aero.

Ganni’s ‘Fabrics of The Future’ initiative was set up in 2019 to research, test and eventually scale innovative materials that challenge conventional material methods, paving the way for the future of fashion with a playful and innovative spirit.

We've been commissioned by GANNI LAB to create a series of worlds showcasing the iconic Bou bag featured in three earth-friendly materials: Oleatex, BioFluff, and Celium™️ (by Polybion).

Each video will transport you to a unique, "supercharged" environment, highlighting the textural and playful nature of these fabrics.

🫒 Our first exploration features Oleatex, a revolutionary plant-based leather alternative derived from olive oil production waste.

🪷 The second exploration features BioFluff, a highly innovative, next-generation faux fur made using natural plant fibres such as nettle, hemp, and flax sourced from agricultural waste streams.

🫧 The third and final visual exploration showcases Celium™, a premium cultivated cellulose grown by feeding bacteria with agroindustrial fruit waste.

      DECATHLON

      Trend report

For Decathlon, I looked at how emerging technologies can enhance rather than replace our physical experience of the world.

While much of today's discourse focuses on isolated technological advances, I explored how innovations emerge from understanding the integrated system of our bodies, consciousness, technology, and environment.

By examining how technologies like wearables, AI, robotics, and extended reality can work in harmony with our natural capabilities, my research revealed opportunities to enhance how we sense, move, and connect with our environment while preserving the authentic human experience at the core of sport and physical activity.

NEW COMPANIONS is a research project by Dazed Studio (Dazed Media) in collaboration with Modem & PITCH STUDIOS™.

We partnered to explore the potential for the next generation’s evolving relationship with technology. this resulted in 3 months of expert interviews, focus groups, analysis and design iterations.

NEW COMPANIONS envisions coming of age in the era of machine intelligence through a series of speculative hardware designs for new forms of connection.

For the design and art direction we drew inspiration from Y2K and early noughties aesthetics, infusing them with a deliberate contemporary, soft twist.

For texture, we experimented with a palette of metallic silvers and a range of finishes —from super soft and fine smooth surfaces to textured and rough patinas— to create a juxtaposition of textures that added depth to the final designs.

Antinomy Labs - the innovation lab of Antinomy Studio - was approached last year by an anonymous entity to create a multifaceted and engaging web3 world-building experience for an anonymous tech client.

We speculated on the characteristics of this advanced civilization: what it looks like and what its history is, what major environmental shifts, technological milestones, and social revolutions their world went through because of AI.

Additionally, we determined what a cautionary message to humanity might sound like. It was important to maintain an optimistic tone about the long-term implications of AI, which perfectly echoes our current anxieties: humans must embrace technology and proceed not with blind faith in what they build but with caution, foresight, and careful planning.

This intricate narrative became the backbone of an expansive and explorable 3D world. We imagined how an alien planet would look like if it were born into extreme states of existence. The landscapes evolved into a collection of 4,444 unique generative NFTs, each featuring unusual visuals.

An immersive playable experience on the metaverse platform Mona was also built for the audience to explore, find hidden artifacts, uncover more of the overall story, as well as contribute to a gamified, digital collectible experience.

I was tasked with—researching and developing the creative strategy, story, lore, and storytelling approach.

          CAT Footwear

The Fabricant and CAT Footwear joined forces to devise an innovative campaign for Supercharged Intruder XL, the first sneaker inspired by the metaverse. Blending urban work site aesthetics with digital elements, our creative direction seamlessly aligned with the brand’s mission to equip people to push for a better tomorrow.

The Brief: Devise an innovative brand awareness campaign for the Supercharged Intruder XL—a limited edition sneaker inspired by the metaverse.

The Strategy: Recognizing CAT’s shift and Gen Z's craving for authenticity and self-expression, we suggested co-creation and customization elements to design an interactive digital experience.

The Outcome: We created 4 exaggerated digital extensions of the Intruder XL sneaker that users could customize.

To further enrich the player experience, we also developed a customised web AR try-on experience. The design was influenced by a range of industrial materials and textures, along with visual cues taken from rave culture and virtual interfaces.

Boucheron is a French luxury jewellery house owned by Kering. For this project, I managed client relations and oversaw project execution within 3D and CGI production.

The idea was that our roots, our beginnings, drive and inform our future.  The Middle East, home to arguably the most future-forward, fast-growth urban environments in the world right now, is also entrenched in deep rooted tradition and history. The family values, held especially dear during the month of Ramadan, respect and celebrate generations of loved ones, new and old, future and past. We know there is a cultural shift from Traditional to Avant-Garde in the region that can be tapped into by the brand. This concept honours and recognizes that shift, whilst appealing to the new, younger target market for Boucheron.
